Thanks for the feedback, I'll do more tests based on that on my production image.

One other test if you have the time is to see if toggling the F12 requester by itself can reproduce the issue? Might take longer.

The original issue was with PAUSE UNPAUSE repeatedly in which case F12 would cause it too, but take longer, there is an extra UNPAUSE PAUSE step between the F12 window and the insert disk window opening to allow the amiberry screen to refresh.

I will of course be trying that too....

I did what you asked and the F12 menu freezes after doing the F12-> Resume sequence 20 or so times .
It is the same in OS 3.1.4, OS 3.2 and AmiBench. Can you please provide me with an image you are using if it is comercial one so I can give it a go and maybe, for a change I don't get this problem anymore or you have some thing other in mind that I can test and report back?

What image version does your machine report? (Bottom left of of screen). I can't share you my image as it is the master dev image with all the src code on it :-) Though I also could not  reproduce this on my A1200NG image. (version V14)  I wrote a looping script to change floppies every10s and got no lockups after 150 or more loops. This script interacts directly with amiberry so doesn't actually open the pause window, but I don't think that should affect it as I also toggled that a goof few times as well.

This one is a bit of a mystery at present. 

Ironically found an unrelated bug whilst testing this, (closing the choosedisk window via the joypad start button would it to crash next you opened from the pause menu) so that be fixed in next update. This was not this bug though as that caused segfault in the A600GS main menu not amiberry, which happily keeps running by itself in that case.

Image version on my machine is "46.2.1069 Image V14".

I also made a a backup image with Win32disk imager of the supplied 64GB SD Card the moment I recieved A600GS. I have that 60GB image available for upload in .7zip compression format (around 1,7GB) and in .zip (around 2,5GB) for you if you want to try to flash it and give it a go and experience misery Let me know if you want it. I can upload to my Google Drive or MEGA and send you the link.

Also is there a possibility for someone from the supoort to send me a new image that they flash when they assemble the machines so I can try it out?

One more question, is there a chance that my hardware is messed up or broken or this is just a software issue?

Nothing to worry about. Its just telling you, your base image from when you received it, is V13.
