Doing fine, thanks for asking.

Looking forward to see Amiga.org and Amigaworld.net merged.

Hey Wayne!
I'm still around and check in here daily :) Not posting to much probably due to less new threads and active users in combination with less and less spare time ony part ^^

My Amiga fire is burning as always tho, I have a Amigas set up ready to start when needed but mostly use my A1200 and CD32 atm, the A1200 is used almost daily :)
I do some repairs and recaps of C64's and Amigas etc for friends and local groups also which I find quite relaxing when I have the spare time :)

Hi guys,

A long-time friend from the site reminded me that it's now been several years since I sold Amiga.org to BillP, and subsequently having seen it go to Trevor.

I'm just curious as to how everyone's doing these days?  Looks like a LOT less drama and in-fighting, which is what kinda wore me down when I was here.

You guys still enjoying the Amiga?

Wayne

THere are far too many lurkers here. People need to post to revive the website the community is dwindling as it is, or mostly moved to social networking. (which i refuse to take part in)

Agree Magnetic! I am glad I stepped up and got back fully involved again. I will admit, a lot of change for the good has come about lately.  I hope it keeps up.

OMG, you've brought all of the oldies out of the woodwork. Bloodline, Kesa, Som99....That's pulling power! Me, I like the fire of the old days. Passion.  Anyhow we're all getting old Wayne. But some of us still have some passion. Except Kesa of course ;) No passion there.

It would only be natural due to the same owner, right?

They could start with shutting down Amigaworld and forward amigaworld.net to Amiga.org. Not because amiga.org is a better site than amigaworld.net, but because amiga.org is a shorter and easier url/web address.

It's mostly the same discussions on both sites anyway, almost like twin sites. EAB is something completely different.

Hi Wayne. Good to hear from you again. I mostly lurk- but always have anyhow. :)

'Still having fun playing with Amigas when time allows. There still is a nice group of us up here in upstate NY that get together.. recently more often than ever before and bringing in new members too... which is great. Amigans are still alive and kicking in 2017 that is for sure.

Yeah, it's not so clear what the difference is these days. Amiga.org was always more Classic Amiga focused but the two have kind of merged as news is harder to come by a decade or so on.

Cranking away with mine. In the middle of upgrading many of them (again). Currently tinkering with 4 A1200s, two in Towers, and an A4000D. I really spend way too much on these machines but I feel like I owe them. My very successful career as a software engineer is very much owed to these machines.

How do Wayne!?

Long time...

I think the word moribund is a good description of this place these days. Not like the heyday of 15 years ago sadly.

Hope you are keeping well.

hmm I only remember wars on all fronts back then which caused quite a few amiga users to flee (me included) and much prefer these 'more peaceful' times with cool new hardware/ developments happening on all camps :hammer:

Lurkers from the ancient past...

How's it going Wayne? I stop by every once in a while to see how things are going.
It is good to see Amiga.org is still here.
I play Amiga games every once in a while, and check in on Aros/Icaros.

It is really good to see less fighting, and new members.
Oh yeah?!?
Well your stupid bit is set,
and its read only!
