A1000, first real computer I used and learned on over many long nights that turned into mornings.
A2000, waited a long time to afford to upgrade to this model, but shortly after getting it I was allowed to get a 0% interest loan from work for computer equipment, up to $3,000 US dollars and I loaded that A2000 up with a bridgeboard, 030 accellerator w/SCSI controller and 8mb RAM, DCTV and several other software titles. Spent every penny of that $3,000 plus more in one day at an Amiga shop that I drove 3 hours to get to.
Next big step was to the A4000D in a Power Tower w/Video Toaster/Flyer setup which I later added a CyberStorm PPC to.
I have aquired every Amiga in between and like the A3000 a lot too, but the three above were milestones for me in my Amiga journey. The last piece of the collection was the rare A3000T, which I think is probably the best made Amiga model and since it was the last one purchased, it also holds a special place in my vast collection.
Amiga crazy??? You bet I am! Still looking for bits and software titles here and there. Someone is going to inherit a huge collection one of these days (hopefully far into the future). Just now trying to settle into semi-retirement and hope to spend many hours on my Amiga collection very soon. Just like the good old days! Hooray!
