Ummm, I wasn't aware of an 040 solution for A600s (talk about boiling eggs...), and worse yet, have you seen the prices for the semi-flaky 030 accelerators for A600s? (that's IF you see such an accelerator; they're quite rare)

You read this thread correctly. However it's only been 1 and 3/4 years.

July 2006 was when the accelerator was announced.

fyi, I know for a fact he spent a lot of time recently fixing a problem in the mach chip for the Buddha Flash Phoenix Edition ZII card (I have one of the fixed cards)

So, you can't say he's not working on Amiga stuff right now. And Individual Computers DOES honor its warranties (same can't be said of even non-Amiga companies).

My guess is he's really busy with Clone-A and has also just released a bunch of stuff for the C64/C128 (some of which is useful to the Amiga).  See redrumloa for availability.

So chill out everyone, and good things will come.

I wish this was true. And I've had less trouble getting
warantee coverage with non-Amiga company's. Telling someone
you are sending their warantee covered mach chip and not
sending it after 15 months is not honoring a warantee.

Im in the same situation as you, i had plans to build out the a600 to use the delfina flipper card, but thats all stalled  until the cpu card gets done. My best guess, since he's now making a new doubler, he might finish the accelerator too.

I've tried the gentle prodding, being patient, AmigaKit
even got involved and Matthew got nothing but the runaround
for several months. It wouldn't be in a public forum if
I didn't feel it's the only forum left. If mentioning it
here helps prevent it from happening to anyone else then
at least that much good will come out of it.

Heck no, post up BR.  Jens is nobody special and neither is any Amiga company.  He thinks HE'S frustrated??? Shi* we've been frustrated for YEARS, hop on the frustration ship Jens, we're all pissed off!

I didn't want to get into this thread, but I guess I better. I have never known Jens not to honor a warranty. I can only think of 1 defective product I've heard of and it was replaced. I have sold many hundred of his products over time.

I don't know the whole story with BR, but I would suspect there is more to it. Please keep in mind we have not heard from Jens or even Amigakit on this, just BR. I have emailed Jens to let him know of this thread, but he is moving right now and may not have an internet connection. I respect Amigakit, Individual Computers and BR who has been a past customer of mine. I suspect a breakdown of communication.

BTW Jens being frustrated at one point has nothing to do with BR's issue, afaik. That was also probably a personal email taken out of context.
