I think it looks great. The site is loading a bit faster too.
It used to hang real awful on some older Mac browsers, but
it seems fixed now.

Looks sharp, but now the top menu bar is its own shade of gry/blue and nothing else is like it on the site, wait no, I can't think of a better color, so looks great. Maybe flaming pink.... and then the text can do the color flashing thing....

I liked the forum topics present on the front page. Since I
almost exclusively use forums through the "ten last posted"
feature, I never see the topic name otherwise. But the whole
long name make it too cluttered. Perhaps having a small
icon for each forum topic might be a good idea, and display
that on the frontpage instead?

I prefer this darker blue background to a light washed-out background. Gives character to the site. Confuse it with Amigaworld otherwise. But I agree the boxes on the left melt inot tha background too much. Change them, not the background.

I do like the new colours. The headers on the boxes on the left do need changing a bit, and the dark gray in the header of the posting page also wants to go  :-P , but it's looking much more alive now.

I liked the grey background, everything stood out better.

I like the alternating post colours tho :-D

I liked the idea of having icons for the different posts aswell - nice one SlimJim :-D

Hmm. All I can say is that I liked the old look better.
As it is now, it's a mix between minimalistic and kitsch(sp?)  futuristic.

Maybe I'll toss together an example... Yeah...
