i thought it wasnt to bad before...

but now it looks much brigher - very smart

the old style was a bit grey, but probably better on my eyes!

i hope the background at the top never changes, it look bloooody good!

Ummm...  consider this a vote against the chrome! I like solid colours and find most textures on web pages to be tacky.

I've got over 100 images on AmiNET in pix/wfm. Anyone who wants to use any of those as a starting point has my permission. I doubt that any of them would be appropriate as they are now, but after some f,s,m they might work a treat. (by the way: folding, spindling, mutilating) :-D

Why not turn the site/background blue ?
Such blue as in the upper right next to the search thing.. or lighter.

Although that would probably make you change the grey in the upper links thing..

Grey just seems boring to me.. oh well.

I think a solid mild color like you had before was best, trying to make the site cartoony with these psudo-camoflauge look isnt making it any better
