I think a solid mild color like you had before was best, trying to make the site cartoony with these psudo-camoflauge look isnt making it any better ;)

I leave here to go to a mate's house, when I get back I find that you've redecorated! :-P

I like the white with blue headers for the column on the left - everything looks more seperated now (which is good :-D).  The silver swirls are ok, I could get used to it.

What about a nice MUI background pattern (I think someone posted one of them already) , I use it when I run massive screens and they look quite cool.

But nice update, keeping this site on the cutting edge, I like it.  :-D

PS: on the front page with the forum bit I would probably perfer the topics name and then the forum its in but thats just me  :-)

umm it's late im knackered and my mind is slipping but i could have sworn the background was white just a short while ago, i much prefered that to be honest, to much bluey now, other than that it looks good.
