Just to clarify a few things:-
I started out in the Amiga scene with a CDTV multimedia pack and stuck with it for four years. If that's not dedication, then I don't know what is!
Also, I've now sold *ALL* my classic Amiga gear and I don't want to spend that money again building it back up. I bought Shogun:Total War for my fiance's mum and dad's PC and that made me realise how far behind the Amiga is in the game stakes.
And regarding Linux, I've just completed a beginners course for Linux at work and I still don't understand it! I want to use Amiga OS but I can't. I also need my own machine to program on instead of sharing a machine with the rest of the family. The deadline I set myself to buy a new machine was 01/03/03. That is today and it was due to be the A1. So on Monday, I'm going to buy PC gear. That will swallow all the money that I had set aside for the A1. As I'm getting married in August, I wont have any money to buy an A1, regardless of whether the A1 and OS4 is a success or not. I wont be able to have anything to do with it.
I hope it all takes off and you guys become the top of the computing tree, but I wont be there with you.
