I have already raised it with my manager. I can't authorize refunds.
To answer your second question. He posts every couple of years and then disappear for a couple of years.

It is a pending order and every attempt the contacting them via email has been ignored. Promises are made here too and nothing happens.

My emails to them get ignored, Then I post here and i'm no longer ignored but nothing gets done. I never disappear. It's been a pending order for many years. How hard can it be to refund a customer after 6 years or at least provide them with an update?

Come on, not true. I have loads of emails where I have replied to you personally.
Yes you do disappear, for years, then come back. As far as I know its all been dealt with every time.
I have raised it with the only person that can issue refund. I will raise it again.

I feel like I'm watching a bunch of hyenas eating a wildebeest. Everyone is circling around, but nobody seems willing to step in and address the actual problem.

John_Chandler - how exactly does pointing out how often someone posts help Toddles get his money back?

If Toddles paid for an order in January 2020 and it has remained unresolved for six years, surely that should be the focus of this discussion. Whether he posts every day, once a year, or once every six years is irrelevant. One complaint about an unresolved paid order should have been enough to get this sorted out.

Follet, I understand that you cannot authorize refunds yourself and that you have already raised the matter with your manager. Thank you for pushing this matter.

So here's my proposal.

  • I personally refund Toddles out of my own pocket.
I look into starting a Kickstarter to raise the money for the refund.
The person who has the authority to issue the refund finally steps up, processes it, and puts this matter to rest.

Six years is an extraordinary amount of time for a customer to wait. Toddles deserves a resolution, not another round of arguments, imo!

@AmigaUser9210

I get this is a forum. But there are always 2 sides to every story 😉 So have no clue why you are involved?

I would personally leave this with the 2 parties to get resolved. But still waiting 6 Years!? Hmmmm…. I know there are other cases with other companies who customers have had issue with. My take, if you are indeed asking? Why not put in a claim with your payment provider sooner?

Anyways. I think we best leave the 2 parties to it, to sort it out. 👍🏻

Hmmmmm, very odd. Same IP address for 2 users and for new AmigaUser9210 account. Almost as if its delibrate to post here.
I'm not arguing, just stating facts. You know this really has nothing to with me, yet I have tried to help.

Sorry, just got in, got word of this. I can contest that there is a fellow Amiga fan in this house. Don't mind me folks, just going to grab some popcorn and watch.

Not to take over the post, just want everyone to know that there are two new games coming out soon. Me and five other collaborators from around the world have spent a lot of time working on what would have been A game, now split up into two games. Woot, woot!
