I feel like I'm watching a bunch of hyenas eating a wildebeest. Everyone is circling around, but nobody seems willing to step in and address the actual problem.
John_Chandler - how exactly does pointing out how often someone posts help Toddles get his money back?
If Toddles paid for an order in January 2020 and it has remained unresolved for six years, surely that should be the focus of this discussion. Whether he posts every day, once a year, or once every six years is irrelevant. One complaint about an unresolved paid order should have been enough to get this sorted out.
Follet, I understand that you cannot authorize refunds yourself and that you have already raised the matter with your manager. Thank you for pushing this matter.
So here's my proposal.
- I personally refund Toddles out of my own pocket.
I look into starting a Kickstarter to raise the money for the refund.
The person who has the authority to issue the refund finally steps up, processes it, and puts this matter to rest.
Six years is an extraordinary amount of time for a customer to wait. Toddles deserves a resolution, not another round of arguments, imo!
