By the time any of this becomes available to the public, Navi will be old news. But at least they are trying, which counts for something.

I have read that Navi will be scheduled for end of 2018/early 2019.

If this is the case, we will have Polaris driver support out well before then.

@Oldsmobile_Mike @ddni

Thanks

This is more to do with making sure available parts can work. Like when an OEM moves to 5" screens because no one is making 4" screens anymore. Though buying a Polaris card at the moment is challenging, no thanks to those crypto asset miners. But by the time this driver is available, I hope there will be plenty of supply at extremely reasonable prices.

Is this expected to be a free upgrade for existing Enhancer Pack owners or will version 2 be a paid upgrade?

Hi Pgovotsos, fair question.

Personally, I don’t actually care if there is a payment needed for major upgrades.
Our coders are enthusiasts like us. They give up their time to move things forward, progress from which I derive a lot of pleasure. So my putting a few quid their way is a fair trade.

Compared to my other hobbies, Amiga is the least expensive.
No one is getting fat on the sales from Amiga software.

Personally I don't really care either. Just wanted to know.

No kidding. Don't ever let the wife know how much I've spent on it. Not if I want to retain the procreative organs :)
