Well remembered, put those on floppies and install using them.
Listen to your CD drive while it's installing, I remember having a few probs during that part of the install where the CD drive would wind down because it hadn't been used for a wee while, then when the installer had to read from the CD again, the drive would spurt, then spin up and do nothng.
As a quick fix (if you could call it that) I ejected the drive when the "positioning icons" came up, then when it tried to read from the CD a requester popped up saying to insert the CD, I just popped it back in again and it finished the install.
I never did figure out why it did that, but the problem went after a while.

When I had that problem, I was using IDEfix'97 with a 52x drive to install onto a 500Mb partition on a 2.5Gb drive.
