Hmm give me a few minutes I have a still pic I can post in the images section. Tonight after work I will put a video (dont expect hollywood results hehe) on my site of the 3000UX booting up for you.

Just saw the pics. Ahh, this is good stuff. Maybe you could talk to the people at http://www.mmhart.com/AMIX.htm maybe they'll be insterested in a copy of that HD.
Anyway is the only way

AS225 is the original TCP/IP stack.  I think it is an early version of AmiTCP which uses socket.library rather than bsdsocket.library (you can emulate socket.library functionality on current TCP/IP stacks).  IIRC AS225 was bundled with the AT Surfer A1200 packs.

I didn't know Novell Client was available either.. pretty interesting, and probably works a hell of a lot better than trying to network to Windows with Samba/smbfs.

Ah, Novell for Amiga. My dad used to use that at work. It should still work if you hook the machine up to a modern Novell network. Backup those install disks if you have them - a very rare find.

tried out the A3000UX. It boots fine, the onboard flicker fixer looked great on my pc monitor, but it has an installation of Unix on it.

Well, yeah. That would be the UX after the A3000. What version is it? A damn good one at that from what I've heard and hard to find.

Some people get sex. Some people have rare Amigas fall right into their laps.

Why is it I don't get either?!?!?!

Because people mistake you for Jamiroquai and think you've got loads of money to buy anything you want? ;-)

Counting all of these Amigas plus the ones I already own, that makes 8 Amigas and there is no way I can keep them all.  I'm going to have to sell a lot of them but I will have to go through them first and make sure they work.  It might be a while since I don't get much time outside of work to do anything during the week.

btw, this Jamiroquai talk is just virtual insanity!

ok that was bad hehe

Ok lads and lasses, I tested the first A2500. The one I tested had cygnus ed among other business related programs installed.  It also had an A2630 card, 1MB Chip and 6MB Fast. Oddly, the HDD controller card just said A209.. does that mean 2090?  My other A2000 has an A2091 and it looks different entirely.  The HDD is a quantum 40MB.  It also has a 286 bridgeboard installed plus a 3Com 8-bit ISA 10 base-T card.  I have no idea how to access the bridgeboard.  This is the A2500 with the black FDD.  Someone must have upgraded the 5.25" drive in that one.  Battery has been pulled from that guy.  I used it for about a half an hour.  Oddly, I had to use my own 1084 monitor since the 1084S monitor I got with the system had a strange video-in type jack, which resembled a Big Din connector.  It has a lot more switches and connector than my 1084.  Damn I'm glad I have all of you because I have never seen a lot of this stuff! :-)

Hmm actually no, the card has a 50 pin SCSI port, a molex power connector, and a spot to place the HDD right on the card like the 2091 does... hehe  I'll dismount the HDD tonight and see what is written on the board under it.  Just looking on the BBoAH it doesn't look much like the 2091 either.  I will check for sure tonight.

Anyway I added a video to my site of the 3000UX booting.. well it was checking the drive for errors and my camera ran out of ram LOL   http://www.theramp.net/vektre
