Agree it would be nice to have professional cases made for these and other bare-neked boards. Be even better if they were included at the time of sale.   :)

kirk_m, I am not talking about boards. I am talking about the Cases for the boards. Just read on a german commodore forum that there is a clear plexiglas case planned for release soon but not exactly sure when. CASES you understand not BOARDS, CASES CASES CASES is the subject of discusssion here!!! ;);):insane::)

No its not the subject here. This is my thread and I am sure I started it with the ACA500plus as the subject. If you want to ask about cases, go make a new thread please.

And, looks like a few of those who have received it already are having issues.

Three users on A1K said they had to power cycle about 10 times before the ACA500+ worked.   Really weird.  Then, one of them kept getting an error code ,for which there is no documentation yet, on the ACA's display.

Jens response to issues is translated as:

The online documentation is not yet started, sorry. E0 is an exception, I know from memory.

Try it without overclocking, set at 14MHz. There are really (accelerator) cards that do not like overclocking.

No reason it shouldnt.  Just dont plug it in upside down. The CF slots would face back away from you too I believe. Ive  had to fix two from A1000 deaths,  original ACA500 though. One never worked again,  other did.

Is there a plexiglass case available?

It's real easy to make one with some plexi and a heat gun. Basically 2 90s - 1 side computer edge to outside edge of ACA, next side down to desktop, last side 1" or so to make a foot to hold it up.

Jens says there are timing issues with the amiga 1000. Hit or miss with multiple resets to get it to work. Doesn't recommend but that hasn't stopped some people.
