@Haranguer
it's easier said than done, unfortunately. the programs haven't been for sale for years. i got my copies of finalwriter, finaldata, and finalcalc via ebay and used a catweasel and floppy drive on my SAM to install everything. once i assigned them all their own screens, it's been smooth sailing ever since on my SAM, peg2, and X5K. they're terrific programs, even if the UI is fairly dated. and as mentioned by QuickSanz, development has even resumed on them.
there's also
things like wordworth and amigawriter; turbocalc 5 and staram plan; and MUIbase for word processing, spreadsheets, and database work respectively. they're all terrific on AOS4, too. and then there's amicygnix-based stuff like abiword and gnumeric, but i much prefer the native amiga programs personally. there are ways of getting these things without finding people selling old packages, of course, but, um, well, i'd suggest you ask over at EAB if you're interested in that approach.

if you do manage to locate copies, and need any help, just ask. i (and others) use them all the time on AOS4 and would be happy to assist if you run into any issues. good luck!
