Somebody's watched Interstellar one too many times.  ;)

Although I shouldn't talk, I've seen it five times in the theater already, have the posters hanging on my wall, and my Facebook profile pic is one of me with one of the Ranger spacecraft.  It was a *big deal* when it came out at the air & space museum right down the street from my house.  ;)

Not seen that.  Is that poem in the film ?  Its a pretty famous poem by a pretty famous poet dylan thomas.  Especially if your welsh :)

Yes, they quote the poem three times in the movie.  If you're into sci-fi at all, it's a must-see.  :)

+ I am alive. :)
- I am running out of Raise Dead spells, no thanks to idiot evil doctors.
- If you met me you would be thinking "HOLY **** what have the docs been doing to this guy!?!??!?"

I'd stay away from those raise dead spells as they lower your constituition. It's ressurection spells if you have to die but healing and restoration magic and potions are generally preffered. One of my non-weapon proficiencies is as an herbalist which my master grandma trained me in. For inflamation and pain, try sour cherry juice, ginger root and tumeric. You need concentrated forms and with as little sugar as possible. Sugar itself can add to inflation. For rejuvenation and restoration you need green vegetables, especially spinach which will also restore strength. Vitamin C will cure many problems but you need constant and high dosses of it. Also don't always rely on your magic abilities or you will end up with 3d6 strength and constitution. You need to train your fighter abilities also. This consists of getting outside in the sun where you will get Vitamin D (it's amazing how many people are deficient and how many health problems deficiency causes). You need to walk to gain constitution and strength and then plenty of rest to recuperate. This will do you wonders over sitting indoors. I can see that your willpower is high (maybe you get a wisdom bonus) and that you have the right attitude ;).

Glad to see you back online. Take it easy :).

I'm sorry to hear the tough time Chaos Lord is having.  Unfortunately, I'm not a medicine man, or a law man or a rich man or such.

Is this where Total Chaos AGA ends too?  If the only version for people to get is a 20turn demo with no access to the full game or even an older version full game then I guess I/we will have to move on.  I will occasionally watch this thread over the next few months in hopes for the best.

Edit:  Perhaps this is an older version that's not a demo = TotalChaosAGA-NewExe.lha?

Why doesn't Chaos Lord simply release the source code to aminet.net (with it's resources)? Also release the latest up to date binary version in aminet.net too that is not a demo, that is not restrictive to 20 turns and that it have no issues with graphical issue in the menu system.

The advantage of that is that is someone can take over where Chaos Lord stopped and can in turn release new versions with more features such as:

1) RTG support
2) 2.5D isometric drop down graphics (detailed terrains, large map exploration)
3) Maybe even 3D graphics with larger map exploration and detailed terrains
4) Could add a story with campaign, in-game video, in-game video ending, cut scenes, etc
5) Add online support for multiplayer playing..where people can browse different servers and join that server with many people playing online (giving the person to put rules in his server, such as how many people can play, password required to join in, etc, etc)

6) THIS GAME IS ONLY FOR THE AMIGA COMPUTER SYSTEM (regardless if it is 68k, PPC) ONLY. Not x86 AROS or MorphOS.

THIS WAY THIS GAME will become like Super Mario/Zelda for Nintendo but for the Amiga. If you guys know what I mean. ChaosLord you could open a huge door and opportunity and make Total Chaos a legacy game that will not die with you and can move on with your name on it until end of time if you do release the source code and of course compile the latest binary.

Think of it as a well as will. You can make a rule that if anyone sells the game your family gets loyalty profit and you put the number of percentage how much it is. Chaos Lord think about it.

TCL popped up on the forums a couple months ago.  Made some interesting comments on a programming thread then went off on some "crazy" rant about how every Amiga required 4GB (GB, not MB) of memory to play his game or do basic things like use Ibrowse, then disappeared again.  Maybe he'd respond to a PM?  Dunno, don't care, good luck!

@ChaosLord

I am not a medical person, but I do happen to know some pretty serious alternative medicine men. I might not fully understand what they talk when they go deep enough, but I do grab this and that bit of information, plus I have had some general interest to alternative medicination.

That said, I am giving you couple of suggestions that you could try out. Notice, that as far as i have seen, there is nothing that would work for everyone, but it seems to be that something works for one, while something else works for someone else.

But to start with the one that seems to be most "works for all" type of thing. I would suggest you try drinking some Noni Juice. You can get them from natural shops, but there is difference between their quality, hence I suggest to make sure you get good stuff, to find some multilevel marketer selling Noni juice. Theres quite plenty of those, but I have noticed that pretty much all the Noni juices marketed through multilevel marketing have been good stuff.

When you take Noni Juice, there is one thing to remember: drink a lot of water, especially if you happen to take on of the noni juice products that is not in juice form.

Idea is that Noni cleans your body on cell level. To be able to do that, it needs water. It uses water to clean your cells. If there is no water to use, then you just get that noni stuck in your cells in addition to all the rest of the stuff you already have, and will feel even worse.

I have no medical condition, but I myself buy roughly twice a year ten 1 liter bottles of Noni Juice and drink them in 3 weeks. it makes me more energetic etc. and it does get rid of some minor issues i might have at that time.

Even if that Noni juice wouldnt help your exact medical condition at all, it will probably anyway make you feel better. I can send you better detailed instructions on how much Noni i would recommend you to take through pm if you wish.

Next recommendation, or perhaps even first one is to get your blood tested. I am not sure what exactly this blood test is called, I just know it is not available in Finland where i live at all, but they keep sending that blood to be tested to germany to really get the results they are looking for. That Finnish versions are not as thorough but they skip some parts.

Anyway, the idea with that blood test is, that it will give result of how much of all the stuff like vitamin-C, Zinc etc. you have in your body.

One possiblity is that if you are very low on any ingredient, it can cause some very strange medical conditions, and in best case all you need to do is take for example Zinc and all your problems go away (That have happened).

Which gets me to Zinc. If you dont take any Zinc pills, I would suggest you to try out taking some. Maybe 1 mg for each 2 kilograms of your weight per day. Actually, When i have a flu, i take 1 mg for each kilogram of my wight per day, and i get rid of the flu much faster and suffer from it much less than the rest.

My suggestion of trying Zinc is based simply on random chance. Probably it wont really do anything, but it seems that when someones having some strange disease which is curable by taking just some single ingredient, it often seems to be Zinc. This might not in fact be so, but might just seem to me so due to having seen these kind of people.

And then, my latest finding that grabbed my attention that I am thinking of trying myself at some point. I havent talked about this with any experts, I have simply seen the documentary, so you could watch it as well: "Fat, Sick, and nearly dead".

The idea in that documentary is that they are not eating anything, but are only drinking fresh squeezed juice mostly made from vegetables, especially green ones.

And not only do they lose weight, but they also seem to get rid of some medical conditions. The fatties it is no wonder they get rid of medical conditions, but there is also this woman who gets rid of migraine, which i found interesting, and i was wondering if there was some truth to the guys thought at beginning when he was thinking that perhaps our body has ability to heal itself even from more serious diseases as long as it is treated right. Documentary is quite convincing because of showing examples, but unfortunately it lacks any scientific research, and it is also missing in giving some important information like what exactly did they put to their juices etc. Hence it is bit hard to evaluate the idea without first digging somewhere else about the method, as documentary itself doesnt tell much, it is only showing the result mainly.

As last, I would recommend another "cure for all". The oxygen water. I have heard quite amazing stories of how this have worked. Like the guy who my friend knows. He had been car accident and basically Doctors didnt give much hope for him to survive, but then friend, family member or something (dont remember exactly) brought him oxygen water and he walked out of the hospital 3 days later and doctors didnt think that was possible at all of having recovered so fast from the injuries, not to mention that they thought it was more than likely he could have even died for his injuries.

here is one oxygen water from amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oxylift--Oxygen-Drops-water-drops/dp/B003SI2WNE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429045101&sr=8-1&keywords=oxygen+water

I have no idea of any of those brands, or if there is much difference between different products (usually there is) and I have never tried myself, only been planning to buy some, but just havent got done that yet. Hence also i linked to this product, it was just the first search result i got from Amazon with "oxygen water". So it is not my recommendation in any way, just example.

If you want, you can pm me the name of your medical condition, and next time i see one of the more experts (I do see/call them every now and then), I could mention your medical condition and ask some specific instructions if they have.

Especially this one guy is specialised in doing research with natural products on how to treat different medical conditions, so he might have some idea. He for example did 5 year study that they still seem to keep quoting in Finnish papers sometimes of how much difference does Omega-3 make in different states of Rheuma and in what doses.

So this game is pretty much officially lost to anyone wanting to play the full version at this point?  I've been trying for years including contacting the author and though I did get a reply or two nothing has come of it ultimately.

I guess since the author is incapable or unwilling to permit any further registrations then the full game is officially lost to history unless someone shares it.  That's really a shame.

Considering that author replied to this thread only 3 months ago showing he still had interest and intention to make it further, i wouldnt say it is lost yet, although there is great difficulty in obtaining the full version.

I realize this is likely in vain, but has there been any update to any possibility of getting a full Total Chaos anywhere?

Let's put it this way - I've waited so long that I actually have an FPGA Arcade board before this game...  :)

Hey guys!!!!!!!

I somehow made it back as an undead zombie spirit thingamajig (hafta check the latest spell-forges to figure it all out).

Here's the deal:
From April 27 2003 thru 2015 I had horrible nerve pain in my hands any time I tried to type.  So I consulted the instructruction books and they all said all I needed were some Fentanyl Patches and I'd be right as rain.   The patches would also resume allowing me to wear clothes too.  Especially socks, underwear, pants etc.  etc.  etc.

But my Islamic Crime Syndicate doctors thought it was soooooooooooo funny to make me come into the Doc's office with no pants twice a month.

No matter how much I begged for my medicine they meaner they got and the crazier the excuses they made up.

This went on year after year.....

Then one day I developed HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIBLE PAIN IN MY STOMACH LIKE THERE WAS A HOLE eaten away in my stomach.
I SCREAMED AND CRIED AND MOANED AN THRASHAED AROUND AND CUSSED A LOT AND KEPT HITTING MYSELF IN THE HEAD,, ETC...... ALLL NIGHT LONG.

The nurses kept criticizing me for being a bad bad person for using bad words that the the whole entire emergency floor could hear.

I kept begging them for medicine!  Please I don't want to live like this!!!!!!!  Please just knock me the hell out or give me a painkiller or something.  But they gave me no meds alll night long to help me.

At one point the nurse threatened to throw me out of the hospital!!!!!  What a bitch!   Luckily the Doc stepped in and stopped her and prescribed some meds.  FINALLY!

They gave me some kind of MorphOne (something or other) and I was instantly cured!!!!!!!!!!!     They didn't give me the meds for me, they did it for themselves.  You see, hospitals make tons of money from running tests on people but they couldn't do thier $$$$$ PROFIT-MAKING CAT Scan on me while I was was writhing around twisting around uncontrollably.

This all happened around a year ago?  I Guess?  It is toooo time-consuming and painful to try to find exact dates now.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA

US citizens pays healt care cost 8500$ per capita and that doesn't even cover whole nation.

Typical European coyntry has organized that with goverment payed systems, wich is 2x-2.5x cheaper and covers whole nation. Offering same level help for everynone, no matter is he rich or poor.
