You need:
Qty 1 GBS8200
Qty 1 Project box from Radio Shack
http://www.radioshack.com/project-enclosure-6x4x2-/2701806.html#q=Project+boxes&start=8Qty 1 Male (some 1084S monitors need FEMALE, check your cable for correct gender) DB9 connector (Crimp or solder)
File and cutters.
The GBS comes with a cable that you plug in the P11 plug.
You have 6 wires, but we only need 5 of them, RED, GREEN, BLUE, BLACK, and GRAY.
Solder/Crimp the wires as follows (pinouts are for C= 1084 monitor):
Pin 1 to BLACK
Pin 3 to RED
Pin 4 to GREEN
Pin 5 to BLUE
Pin 7 to GRAY
Cut the box.
I used wire cutter and Dremel tool to cut the holes.
Use my pics for reference (don't judge, looks good on the outside)
For PAL and NTSC I use following settings on GBS (When you get it, you'll kow what it means):
HPOS 56
VPOS 16
HSIZE 48
VSIZE 55
CLAMP ST 97
CLAMP SD 00
As far as the buttons, I did not modified them, once you set it, you should not touch them.
