MakeCD is lighter and has more options for tuning: http://www.estamos.de/makecd/
Download from that page at least main archive (http://www.estamos.de/makecd/ftp/MakeCD32c-internet.lha), the latest exe (http://www.estamos.de/makecd/ftp/MakeCD32d_public_beta_12.lha) and take the free registration info too.

Frying Pan is simplier to use, but heavier. Hmm.. seems that official FP page isn't up now (was in summer though). I think you need main archive which was there, but then you get version which doesn't need registration from there http://www.tsteffen-online.de/files/FryingPan.lha

I can only agree with others here. MakeCD or FryingPan are the way to go.
In regards to Franko, he did used to mention some sort of DVD/cd software he wrote, but never once gave a URL and instead would just tell people to look on aminet.
Despite a few early disagreements I ended up getting along with him ok, but despite that I cant help but have some scepticism towards these alleged DVD-Tools. I might be wrong, but he never offered anything to quell that scepticism.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Oh cool, thanks.

Now I feel guilty about having voiced my scepticism though :)
Sorry 'bout that if you happen to be reading this Franko :)

MakeCD is capable.  I never found it to be as intuitive as the latest Toast software (Of course it wouldn't be as evolved.  This is no slight.)  Several years ago, someone made an excellent step-by-step tutorial with screen shots.  This tutorial made using MakeCD very simple.  I wish I could remember who did it.

MakeCD made me want to beat my head against a wall with its indecipherable user interface, but I have used it successfully in the past to burn CD's on my Amiga that could be read-back by my PC.  Make sure you have plenty of memory for cache/buffer space, and burn slow.  Have fun!  ;)

Well, it looks pretty messy at first, at least if you're not familiar how cd burning works generally, but when you learn it, it is actually quite simple to use afterall :)

Unless if you have SCSI, then you don't have to worry about anything. Just burn full speed and do other things with your computer :) Never got any buffer underruns with SCSI setup... and I was surfing the web and listening mp3 at the same time. PC owning friend was horrified that I did those things while burning :P
