How's your Christmas?
« on: December 21, 2002, 07:57:28 PM »
Hi,

MERRY X'MAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My X'mas is a bit sad this year. I am far from home and cannot be there with family, moreover, for some reason I cannot be also with my boyfriend. We both got something to do and keep us away from being together for some time.

So my plan is gonna be sitting in my place alone, watching my favorite movies on video and waiting for some 'unexpected merry x'mas call' (hopefully).

Last X'mas was WOWderful. I just miss it.

So how's yours?  :-)

Merry X-mas.

Sorry to hear your X-mas is a bit sad this year...
None the less I hope you will enjoy X-mas a bit anyway, even if it is only a little bit.

This year, my X-mas will be somewhat better than the past 4 ones, but that's a different story altogether...

To everyone else here as well: Merry X-mas !!!

Thanks Kuan_Ti. I am thinking of watching Home Alone. Really get X'mas mood everytime seeing this movie.  :-)

Last year I remember we spent the christmas evening in nice cinema (premiere class!) and with the movie The Lord of The Rings. Great moment  ;-)

Yes.
It's the name of the God of war in Chinese mythology.
If you ever want to read a good book, have a look at "Romance of three kingdoms", which has to be the most popular novell in the Far East...
(but you probably know that allready, seeing where you are from...)

I'm relaxing now.. back in my town of birth and visiting people I haven't seen for a long time. If only this damn cold would go away and I had broadband instead of dial-up it would be close to perfect ;)

I hope you and everyone else here at Amiga.org will have a lovely Christmas. My best wishes go out to all of you.

:-o Hello, Imation.  You and Coder have been away a while.  Now we know why.  It's sad that you won't be together, but all of us here at Amiga.org wish you both well.

:-) for my own Christmas, I'm going to visit family in Seattle.  I'll spend a few days there, catching up on old times and counting my blessings.

I sent my wife of 15 years and my 13 year old son to the Philippines to see her family so I understand how you feel.

It is going to be lonely and sad Christmas but I know my in laws appreciate seeing her and I know she is happy as well.

We will celebrate our christmas Jan 16 when they get back. Hope that when you get back together it is a happy occasion.

@ Imation

Sad to hear it, its happened to me before.  Alone at Xmas can be still be done without to much trouble if you keep yourself bussy and watch good movies and think happy thoughts.
But, if you don't want to CRY the night through, don't watch "Its A Wonderful Life"  with Jimmy Stuart.   If you do, make sure you have a life jacket.  The flooding could be non-stop.

Anyway, have a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS.... :-D

Hi,

Hey there Kuan_Ti. How is it going? I have been really busy the last months. But very soon I will have lot's of free time.

It's a real bummer we cannot be together at x-mas. But it will be the last time. By the way, the rumour that I am not there because we would go to your parents is not true. :-D
And then to think I am going to miss that beer party in the beergarden. Now, that makes me really sad.

There are just some things (work  :pissed: ) to take care of. Should not take so long anymore.

To everyone, have a great x-mas.

Coder
Check it out - I found the ass-end!

Greetz,

I know that book but never read it before. Really big story and big books. By the way, God of War in Chinese, I think I have heard it as the name Kuan Au but maybe that's Thai sound.I am not sure. And there is another word that probably has the same sound,Kan Ti ,that is kind of chamberlain or something like that.

You sound really Chinese fan. ;-) I watched a lot of the Chinese movies/series (yup, mostly about mythology) when I was young but not anymore.

Cheers,

Imation

How come my post is in Hardware Issues and discussion instead of General Talk? LOL I posted in wrong place maybe.

Thanks,

No snow in Bangkok indeed. Hot like hell everyday. But my hometown is in the north that I can be touched a bit by the cold of winter. Get better x'mas mood if I am there. :-)
