since Voyager is already part of MOS there's only one question left for me: Do I need Ibrowse or not? :-D

Oh... yes an answer... if i had to choose (i don't have since I own both already) I would go for IBrowse. IMHO it's the most advanced Amiga Browser atm.

I just bought IBrowse.  I like it the most of the two.  I have Aweb from the OS 3.9 CD installed as well.

I would go for IBrowse 2.3 any time. It's *much* faster, very stable, much better support for javascript amongst other things. It is *the* browser for AOS in my opinion.

Try to load Amigaworld as one example and try to scroll it. It will be *slooooowwwww* while IBrowse scrollt it smoothly like it shall. So does AWeb but IBrowse beats both of them in every way. It is worth the money I can tell you.

what would be GREAT was if there was some sort of "webpage" that had
all of these MCC classes for download.  I downloaded IB 2.3 demo
Voyager for MOS is "ok" to say the least.  When I first read you'alls
posts, I was saying "what? IB better then Voyager?!?!" are these guys
on CRACK?  Well, I found out I was running (dont laugh) version 1.1.
yes, yes..1.1... I go to install it and it asks where newstring.mcc is
located...well I do not have it.  Anyone have a URL to where I can get
it since blobrana(?) page has plenty of broken links.

Thanks

Well... ..guess what? Go for IB2.3 :-)

OT: The whole mcc circus is getting out of hand. I tried to get SimpleMail running and couldn't because the required mcc was nowhere to be found (100% of the recommended links in doc was broke and too old versions on Aminet). Authors should distribute with all the required mcc's or not at all...
*Zap! Zap!* Ha! Take that! *Kabooom!* Hey, that\'s not fair!

For MUI libs, try the following web site.

http://www.zerohero.se/mui/download.php

I'd make it a clickable link if I knew how.

I prefer IBrowse myself.

anyway, you can't compare VoyMOS with IB2.3 DEMO.

The demo version, has only 2 connections opened so a mere speed comparision, isnt reliable.

Believe me, quite all the MOS users, uses IB2.3 for everyday browsing.

For the newstring.mcc, it is present in the IB2.3 archive (68K version)
