As for the future some integration with Twitter and more especially Facebook would be most welcome.  Facebook trawls websites that it finds links to - twice a day so I am led to believe potentially increasing traffic.

Also on-trend is being able to register/login on a website by 'Signing in through Google+, Facebook, Twitter' accounts - I am sure that would increase membership as everyone loves being able to sign-up to/for something at the click of a single button.
No, no, NO! We have enough whackjobs here as it is, do you really want to let every yahoo with a Facebook page in? As for "integration," in my experience that works out to "sitting and waiting for the page to finish loading while a choked-up Facebook CDN/Google Analytics server struggles to provide a 'Like' button graphic/who the hell even knows." That's the last thing we need.
Computers: Amiga 1200, DEC VAXStation 4000/60, DEC MicroPDP-11/73
Synthesizers: Roland JX-10/MT-32/D-10, Oberheim Matrix-6, Yamaha DX7/FB-01, Korg MS-20 Mini, Ensoniq Mirage/SQ-80, Sequential Circuits Prophet-600, Hohner String Performer

Agreed. Facebook integration is just annoying to say it in the most polite way possible. I wouldn't want to crawl other users face book page anyway, and I'm sure nobody wants to crawl mine either. It's a place where I keep up with grandma and post pictures of my cat!

Yeah, Facebook sucks, if I want share something I just send the person(s) in questions an email or use some other real time service.

I didn't really mean complete integration with Facebook, I don't think we need or want avatars all over the place and 'Johnny 5, Machine-man, Judge Dredd, Japanese-robot-walking-upstairs-falls-over & 12 others like this post.'

I think a Share on Facebook link in the Bookmarks area will quite suffice.

I mean who uses Digg, del.icio.us and StumbleUpon' anyway?  Could always add Facebook and Twitter into the mix - no side effects.
