I thought these were supposed to be 'crazy' ebay postings, not 'insane as %&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!' ones!  :D

Okay, needed to share this... granted it's not eBay, and it's not Amiga (Atari in fact).  But this has some pretty ridiculous prices on the page!

http://www.collectiblesonlineshopping.com/searches/atari.html

My favorite is the Atari 400.. oh, I guess they actually are on eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/201501113860?item=201501113860&vectorid=229466&rmvSB=true

I'm still laughing...

Edit: Oh my god, he says;
This Lot comes with the highly collectable game "Basic" computing language.
Computer programmers will know the significance of this cartridge.
These are becoming very hard to find, and will only go up in price.

And then I find http://www.ebay.com/itm/BASIC-Rev-A-cartridge-Atari-400-800-XL-XE-computer-WORKS-GUARANTEED-2-/252257277989?hash=item3abbb49825:g:C90AAOSwkZhWTs6B

Scroll up and do a search for Amiga and start laughing!  Lots of outrageous stuff there.

And yes, it's ebay.  Just a "gatherer" site.

I'm pretty sure I have one somewhere of it.   But maybe not, the only Atari I have that doesn't have built in basic would be my 800.  I wouldn't mind getting a hold of the Star Raiders controller/pad and cartridge though, loved that game, used to have it, but I'm sure it was lost in the move somewhere :(

Speaking of old Atari stuff, I've recently obtained a Falcon, and I just found out today that there was more than just CLAB that got the rights to build them, and there is one out there called the Sonovista, which was a black one, and looks fantastic!  Too bad Commodore/ESCOM didn't just sell off the rights for Amiga so other companies could make them at the time.  Then again, Commodore went bankrupt, and Atari just quietly faded away by reverse merging into a hard drive manufacturer of all things...

It is interesting from the perspective now to see how well these two platforms have carried on.

Okay, is that an '030 under the heat-sink, because this 530 seems to be missing the "30" part.

I never knew these had IDE and SCSI on them.  That's pretty impressive.

yeah it's only got a 68k on it and is indeed missing the 030 from the section on the board designed for it.
