Well right now I don't have any fresh Tin foil and the hat I've just made was taken from a roast chicken I cooked on Sunday, it doesn't seem to be blocking out any signals but the cold chicken grease and fat thats dripping in me eyes is starting to block out the posts I'm trying to read... :)

If you put the foil completely over your head and face, it will shield you from electromagnetic radiation in the 400–790 THz range.
