Yeah, I had to think twice about them, but decided to include 'em 'cos theyre some peoples only options for 68k software. Still gives me an idea of what sorts of "amiga" speeds/resources are available to ppl though.

True enough... one thing I'd really like to know though is how many "Classic" users use DVD burners on their Amigas, as I've never bothered to update my DVD burning utils on Aminet as I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort doing so if there aint a lot of folk burning DVDs with their miggies... :)

I'd have liked to add a few other options as well, but the polls are restricted to only 10 options. I had to lump a few things on one for example with RTG/AHI + kitchen sink (shouldve been RTG/RTA really), which can be a little innacurate, but my current projects are custom chipset based, so it seemed the best one to compromise. Some sort of cd/dvd rom option is a bit of an oversight by me though as it's a medium Id like to use.

Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Which one do you use most regularly and get the most use out of.

I don't have any classic miggys at the moment :(

Strictly limited to UAE.

Anyone have a spare A3000/4000T lying around they don't want? ;)
Even my cat doesn\'t like me.

I run a stock 512KB Chip A1000 and a stock 2MB Chip A1200. Even given the low amount of RAM in each, they're still a blast to use. I also occasionally use emulation, AROS, and MorphOS.

Sure, but as I said already the polls are limited to 10 options so I had to make some compromises.

Interesting so far to know that most users use AGA, 040 or 060 & more than 8MB of RAM, handy to know when writing future programs... :)

Don't worry!  You use an amiga.  By default you are a standalone individual.

Personally Im quite pleased with these results. The 2 main game projects Im working on I intended to make for ecs/1meg/68000 with a few extra gfx and sounds for users with 2 meg chip ram, and one that I expect to be a bit heavier, targetting an '030 + fast ram, with a few extra effects for faster cpus, so these results where pleasantly surprising. Id actually expected there to be very little interest in lower spec systems, and also I expected the average AGA machine to be slightly lower spec, but it panned out a good match  :)
Now I just need to actually finish them  :)  (not sure if anyone read about me planning to release something at the end of the month, but Im still holding myself to it (dont expect too much though, it's just a quick "clear the cobwebs" type project for now:))
