Oh nice! Could you email or PM me a code so I can download the latest version please?

I really wanted to finish my BOH-related projects (the level editor and the "total conversion" gfx/sound/level packs) but I just never had time. Now the editor is really out of date with the mission file format :-(

Just sent via email. I'd be glad if you used it to submit your records to the worldwide standings ;)

BTW: you should have received it already one year ago: maybe you're no longer using the email address I have?

I feel for you. Well, don't think about those: if you find some free time, just enjoy BOH for what it already offers (and it offers a lot more, after the updates) :)

I had a long reply to explain my point of view, but it doesn't really matter, so I will just post the first sentence of it here.

Yes, it is very presumptuous of me to state my opinion that I believe that since the developer is an AmigaOS4.x user, he has made a choice which prevents his work from being ported to MorphOS2.x.

Edit:  @motorollin,  I don't feel that the MorphOS users are entitled to get a port of BOH, but since it is a game written by an Amiga programmer, it would be nice if all the Amiga users that have chosen to use MorphOS instead of AmigaOS4.x could use it on their choice of NG Amiga system and it is a shame that there is no option that is acceptable to the developer that would allow such a port to be completed.

No it's the same address, but I don't seem to have the email address. IIRC I never actually downloaded the official version as I was using the beta OS X versions. So perhaps I didn't have a download code back then.

I certainly will! And I suspect that as I get into the game again I'll want to get the editor up and running :)

He has made a choice, and it is exactly the choice you say it is - not to port his software to your chosen OS. The reasons for that have been quite clearly stated by Simone. Whether or not you believe him is quite irrelevant.

Sorry to intrude in the middle of the conversation, but I have a bit of a silly question.

What does "BOH" stand for?
AMIGA: (NOUN) THE FIRST COMPUTER THAT BRIDGED THE GAP BETWEEN HUMANITY AND TECHNOLOGY.

Please read at least the first part of this interview, as it explains how BOH was born (and partly, also some of my feelings). The rest is just a natural consequence.
Anyway, the chain of events goes like this:
 1. I had a vision.
 2. I decided to make an experiment.
 3. I did the experiment on AmigaOS 4 because that's the OS I use.
 4. I liked the experiment and it grew into a game.
 5. At some point, I realized the game had commercial potential, so I thought it would be nice to give Amiga users a new, professionally produced game; to make it feasible, I also made the Windows version (which was rather easy, given that I based all of the work on a framework of mine which I've been developing for years).
 6. I released the game.
 7. Since I'm unemployed, I decided to port to game also to more commercially interesting platforms (MacOS and Linux) to earn some more money.
 8. Upon request and to make more Amiga users happy, I eventually gave in to the temptation of making the AROS port (and this taught me a lesson, as explained in a previous post).

Now I'm at a point where I can't make another port, regardless of how nice that would be (I've explained the reasons, so I won't repeat myself here).
That's all there is to it.

No problem. That's a long story, so I have to ask you to check out the interview I linked in the previous post ;)
