I voted for him being sent to Vulcan, but more to show the Vulcans and that they'll see it's logical to start using "amiga" based systems. The main downside here though is that it will probably start a war  ;)

slight sidenote, but wasnt Vulcan destroyed in the most recent movie? (which was chronologically the 1st movie if memory serves correctly?)
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Wrong. The new star trek movie is NOT star trek. It is not consistent with the star trek universe. That is final. Don't make me laugh. hmmmff..

It is in an alternate timeline anyway so no Vulcan was not destroyed. I can't believe you even suggested that. What kind of trekkie are you?     :madashell:

If you want proof star trek is not star trek try looking up www.trekmania.com as they have analysed the new movie and pulled it apart.

Wow fame at last... :D

In response to this great and most humbling honour of having a poll named after me I've prepared a little speech... :)

Cough, cough, Ahem...

Ladies & Gentlemen, my fellow Amigians, Scumbags, Nutters, exiled Vulcans, Grubs, Chubbs, Merrywinkels & Proudfoots

I would just like to take the time to say, wheeee, parp, wibblle and meh...

This great honour that has been bestowed upon me almost brings a tear to my third eye and is indeed a very, very humbling & truly non-emotional experience.

Although I haven't quite yet achieved my lifetime ambition of Scumbag yet, being still a lowly gutter snipe, it is however still my ambition that I shall one day shall rise to the dizzy heights of being a fully fleged Scumbag and fulfill my lifelong ambition. I so often long to be able to return to my home planet of Vulcan but alas the exile papers made it very clear by the Vulcan High Commission that under no circumstances whatsoever would I ever be able to return to my home planet either living or dead.

Sadly AmigaInc didn't want me either and that is why I ended up here on Amiga.org the last great dumping ground for all the Amiga communities social misfits and the dregs of society. It was all over a silly wee mistake during my sex change operation to become a real woman when Mr Bill McEwan came to visit me in hospital and fell asleep on the hospital bed just as I had nipped off for a quick pee. The now Mrs Willamina McEwan was non to pleased when he/she awoke after mistakingly having my operation and finding his dangly bits missing and thus promptly fired me from AmigaInc.

Unfortunately I don't have quite enough time on my hands as I tend to sleep for 3 hours during any 24 hour period, but the doctors are working on this and hopefully soon I shall be able to stay awake 24 hours a day and post even more of my invaluable knowledge and wisdom here on all things Amiga and totally non Amiga (or even non reality) that I have learned during my short 700 odd year exile on this lovely wee green planet of yours.

In closing I would just like to thank my Mum my Dad my ex-wife, my daughter, the cat, the dog, the budgie, old Mrs Johnston from across the street, the milkman, the paper boy, the old smelly tramp who hang around outside my local off-licence, the Natagubi Tribe of the small invisible island just off the coast of south Malaysia and of course all those lovely members here at Amiga.org who have taken their time to vote for me here and laud me with such admirable and glowing comments.

I thank you all from the bottom of my bottom and can only say in closing... watch out... your all now fully fledged members of my hit list... :uzi:

Once again I thang you, thang you very much... :)

(PS: Oooh... Kesa I'll get you for this one, don't know where don't know when but I'll have you for this one my dear melon wearing chap... ;))

(PPS: I prefer the term 'Bamstick' myself rather than 'Nutter'... :))

(PPPS: I shall be mostly posting here today from the comfort of my Lavvy Pan, as I have a bad dose of the scoots and am currently stuck in the loo right now as I post... apologies for the smell in advance...) :roflmao:

Wrong again.

Taking the Amiga to Vulcan would be a disaster. The Amiga is a masterpiece of art and elegance. Vulcans are logical therefore will not appreciate it for what it really is.

They would be more likely to embrace generic PC's as they are more efficient, cheaper, more powerful etc.

Don't make me laugh  :madashell:

Douglas Adams, Monty Pythons, Not The Nine O'Clock news, The Day Today, Chewing The Fat, Scotch & Wry, The Two Ronnies, Morcombe & Wise, Laurel & Hardy, Still Game, Billy Connolly to name bet a few have all influenced my life and how I look at things to a teeny weeny wee extent... :)

There is nothing in this life that you should take too seriously, it's just a waste of precious time & effort, in this the most bizzare & wonderful concept ever conceived that we call life... :)

The Star Trek universe is quite consistant in being inconsistant, so I don't grasp what your point is :)
