However, its a GREAT book!   Lots of fun reading!

I laughed out loud when Bil Herd brought in a plant to see if the plant or their manager (Julian?) would give a better answer.

There was the new updated version that was supposed to come out Feb 2010 but appears some delay and last I saw maybe this summer it supposed to come out.  It is on Amazon.

Looking at the site I have to say I am quite unimpressed..  5 books available... 4 of which, (including the one requested in this thread) are all out of print and sold out...

You could email the publisher and ask for more information.   Variant is out of Canada I believe and I think they employ a JIP business model.   Maybe they are doing another round and its temporarily out??

The publisher of this book should be ashamed.  They have tons of people out there that are dying to buy this book but there are none to be found.  I really get sick of those bung holes out there trying to rip you off.  There was a guy on Amazon selling a used copy for $5,000 believe it or not.

The printing industry is having a really difficult time right now especially small outfits that can't compete with shipping subsidized plants in china. I should know since I am a currently unemployed commercial printing press operator. Many publishers and printing plants have closed in the last three years, and many of those remaining have had to merge with others or find other methods of operation to remain afloat.

Even if the 2nd edition never comes out, the first printing is an absolute treat to read if you can find a copy. It's not often I can't lay a book down and this was certainly the case with this book, although I would've wished the chapters on the Amiga were a bit more elaborate than they are. But still, a great read!
