@lempkee,

Why would the OS4 team stop development on their work that they haven't been paid for, might never get paid for, parts of their work might get stolen through the courts by their hated enemy, there continues to be no hardware for their work and the limited past hardware that does run their work is not enough to justify their continued efforts, and maybe they are just fed up with the whole fiasco and legal crap like the rest of us?

I don't want them to stop working on further improvements, but I wonder what their attitude and feelings about continuing their work for little or no payment for their work is like?  Are they confident that Hyperion is going to win the court case, or cases, or do they think that the outcome will not stop them from continuing their work no matter what AInc. does?
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Do you see any chance to support the ICQ protocol?
PLEASE. :-) There are so many MSN clients outside, but noone is supporting ICQ. All my friends use ICQ, noone is using MSN.

Just tried to connect again several times. Still says it is connected, but my MSN contacts do not show up in the window??

Does it show your existing contacts, or do you have to add them again?

If I try to add a contact (by typing in their email address) after I press ok the requester goes away and the contact list still shows nothing.

Multiview will show .gif .png .jpg
Amissl is installed
and MUI is also installed.

What I can't see is the icon for the main program. What must I have to see it in the Work Bench window?

Hope this info is helpfull!

PS:
   As soon as I get it working I will donate via PayPal.

Nevermind i got it working now,this truly is a something i have been waiting a long time for.
I never used my amiga as much these days due to lack of a decent msn client that was simple to use as jabber was not stable for me.
Thanks for this great program as now i imagine i will be using my amiga lot more.

The stack size might not be high enough. I've reuploaded an archive with an icon thats compatible with OS3 and has a correct (or maybe even overkill) stack size. Also, this archive has IFF ILBM emoticons and white backgrounds for the main smileys too. The exe is unchanged from the previoius release though.

Also, some users might like to download the new IFF ILBM smiley set separately:

@a-pex

take StrICQ sources and update it to support latest protocol.

In contrast, most of my friends use MSN... there are no graphic clients that allow sending/receiving files with MSN users.

You can use Jabberwocky ATM...

Thanx for a great and wonderfull work.
I use SabreMSN in Morphos, everything works great except filetransfer.
If i send a very small file it works, but if i try to send for example a mp3,
this fails.
Recieve files dont work at all.
