I am trying to improve the site. I think activity will grow when we start discussing the show for next year.

Sorry I dont get it. Is AROS and MorphOS bad things?

Do you know that they are in some ways connected to Amiga?

Why would someone interested in Amiga not be interested in news/discussions regarding those subjects?

Same reason Protestants aren't Catholics.

Also want to add, amiga.org seems to be the most balanced Amiga site with the largest following. I'm sure everyone knows how I feel about OS4, but here it can be discussed along with MOS, AROS, and AmigaOS because (most) people understand that all are related to Amiga. That's how it should be. And amiga.org usually provides answers to people who have any Amiga-related question. For these reasons I think amiga.org is the best Amiga site.

Hi adz,

I was perpetually perplexed by that very same sentiment when I was an extreme poster on AmigaWorld.Net when hoardes of trolls traversed the domain continually!

P.S. Hmmm, copied the src image of the smilie letter for letter and can't get it to appear???

So I guess that A500, 600, 1000, 2000, CDTV, CD32, are pure garbage then? Thanks for posting here.

Ultimately, Amiga.org is tops; outside of that...eab.

Most of the folks who post here and at eab aren't suffering under any delusion that Hyperion will be worth $50m in five years or that any day now the world will embrace poor old creaky Amiga OS (or Morphos, or AROS etc.) and en masse abandon Apple, Windows or any of the dozen or so supported OS choices out there.

IOW, they use the Amiga for fun, which considering the hobby niche is really what it should be about.  Like the guys who push A600's to the max - they don't honestly think "Well this is a better general computing platform that an equally equipped Mac or PC of the same vintage treated to the same types of upgrades".  They do it because it's fun.
Back away from the EU-SSR!
