The neatest thing is the ability to personalise the case:

It's still ugly and it isn't a wedge.

It's just missing the 2 slots in the top to insert the bread.

Since it is Mini-ITX there are so many cool cases to chose from, I would have chosed the smallest possible case with a laptop DVD and 2.5" HD.

Even though the mobo is tiny it is still tall on some places, it can be difficult to mount it in a A500/A1200 case (I tried that with a previous Mini-ITX mobo). But if a all new custom solution appears yes.

I agree that the case above is ugly, in the PC world, nobody seems to know how to design a good looking case except Apple.

I have designed a wedge case for the SAM and Natami, but it's a bit early to post pictures.

Wouldn't a wedge case have a keyboard and slots/holders for drives etc included?
How would you do that, TheDaddy?

(btw, i think acube delivering the Samantha with a dedicated case would be awesome. A "real" computer :-D . I guess a lot of people in the Amiga community are just waiting for something like that. It's such a different thing from buying just a motherboard.)

does anyone think the gamecube would fit the new sam board? Id happily hollow out my cube if it made a good casing! I believe it looks cool as hell, could replace the top plastic disk with a custom made amiga one too.

Um, I think that, by "wedge," ollygd means a case like the A500/600/1200 with integrated keyboard, drives and everything.
