Amiga keyboard -> PC?

Hi all,

I'd really like to connect an A2000 or A500 keyboard to my AROS machine. Are there any options (maybe DIY)?

I know there are many PC keyboard -> Amiga adapters around, but what about the opposite? The only one I know is Keyrah, but it is USB (I need PS/2) and doesn't support A500 or A2000 keyboards.

I don't know anything about the Keyrah, but if it works for A3000 and/or A4000 keyboards, it should work with an A2000 keyboard.

As for it being only for USB, wouldn't it be possible to use a PS2 to USB adapter to make it work the way you want?

Just a suggested fix, check it out.

I haven't seen any USB -> PS2 converter... The other way, sure.

I have seen some very nice Commodore PC keyboards over the years,I have one that i use on my DTV64 project,with the commodore Logo there it does not look out of place the only thing that spoils it are the  M$ keys..

That doesn't work for USB-only keyboards, though, it requires the PS/2 signals.

I doubt keyrah actually implements the PS/2 stuff (but I don't know for sure).

The Amiga version is for A600/A1200 keyboards only.

It is not only the look, but the Amiga keys and the quality. I have one of the excellent first A2000 keyboards (the one with a Commodore key on the left), would be nice to connect that one.
