The A500 is hardly rare and was mass produced, so it does seem a little ridiculous. Then again, it is perfect, and I'm sure it will go someplace where it will be well preserved. $365 really isn't that much to blow on a personal hobby... (edit -- not that *I* would buy one at that price! LOL)
However, the price on this stuff does fluctuate quite a bit... odd how one can go for $80, while another fetches $400 (both NIB). ;-)
A few years ago, I picked up a NIB 64C for something like $40-50, when a few weeks prior they were all selling for over $200. Just depends how many people want one all at once, then you have to figure in the shill bids/etc.
Wasn't there a new/boxed A2000 that sold last year??? Something like $600 IIRC. That seems a bit more reasonable.
