Well, I'm doing my install and I see in the guide I have an option for keyboards where I might not choose an 'Amiga' keyboard:
"If you have a PC or Mac keyboard (connected via USB or using a third party) then uncheck this option."
What do you think? I assume all this can be changed later on, yes?
I have this situation:
1. I have a PC keyboard connected via my old Micronik parts.
2. I do have a USB subway and intend on using USB keyboard and mouse whenerver possible.
I just don't want to miss anything, maybe helpful to some one else.
I will now begin drinking a beer and wait a sensible reply. LOL.
Thanks guys/gals.
:-D
1) If you just intend to use a keyboard and mouse with Subway, perhaps you can try ANAIIS (even on OS4!)
2) Find and download ANAIIS 0.94 on aminet.
3) Uncompress the archive.
4) copy usbstart, usbreset, usbstop and anaiis where you want (you can copy icons or chose nicer ones elsewhere).
5) click usbstart once => nothing works.
6) compute the exact address of the clockport
base address (i.e. 0x00e90000)
offset (i.e. 0x4000)
clockport address => 0x00e94000
start Anaiis, "System" panel, cycle gadget until "Subway", enter 0x00e94000 into Param1, then "Hardware" panel.
7) Plug a keyboard and a mouse into Subway connectors.

usbstart, launch anaiis => you should see Subway into "Hardware" panel, some device activity into "Devices" panel and at least it should work :-P! (mouse pointer should move both with original mouse and usb mouse)
9) Now you can modify the startup-sequence to start this stuff at boot time.
10) At his step you can drink beer for the rest of your life.
If you try ANAIIS, let me know if it works or what happens on OS4 and Subway?
*Thanks.
