I second Coldfish's statements.

I also thought the same about the logo (when I first saw it), although even a non-eye logo would be interesting to see as well. I just think the "furry" stuff is a bit of too niche-y or esoteric and possibly a "turn off" for some (although I can see a sort of "rhyme" with Tux and "beastie" of BSD...). Anyways, no big deal. The essence is more important :-)

One question to the Aros Gurus :

What would be a nice PC configuration to run Aros ? I really would like to see it running nice without crashes, and I believe the problem is my PC.

Probably any old nforce2 mobos would be pretty close to perfect.  Now there is a bounty for ASUS EEE PC support.

I also think that AROS has a lot of potential. It is the one project that keeps developing steam.

Mine have a SIS chipset. Are there any known problems with that ? Or with Semprom ?

SiS is not that well supported IIRC.  VESA (which isn't bad really for speed) should work ok.  Sound and NIC, depends on again if there are drivers for them.  CPU should work perfectly as does the ATA drives.  SATA is not currently supported.

Best method, boot with the CD and see what works and doesn't work.

I tried out the latest nightly build today on an old K6-II 500 MHz with some Nvidia TNT2 gfx card, but it just presents me a black screen  :-?  This happens right after I have selected the screen mode. The cdrom and the hd are accessed for a short moment and that's it. Is there any way to debug this or is my hardware not supported? I could gather some more hw details if needed.
