Hi dude, and welcome!

It's a shame about the current situation but it has been like that for so long that I, personally, just don't give a t*ss anymore about possible future OS4/MorphOS/AROS machines.

Well actually AROS maybe because it could run on the machine I'm typing this on right now.

Incidentally, don't confuse Amiga Inc. with Amiga OS. Hyperion update AmigaOS 3.1 up to AmigaOS 4.0 and it's an amazing OS now.  If you want to use an Amiga then OS 4 is the way to go, the only problem is:
a) Finding an AmigaOne to run it
b) Getting a second mortgage to pay for said AmigaOne.

So don't give up all hope on using a new Amiga, it's very likely a new AOS 4.0 compatible will be out at some point in the nearish future, just no-one knows when!
