Oh, I like Amigas alright. I liked my 500 and 4000 a great deal, in fact. Nowadays, I like them
in perspective. The OS is nice and simple and provides a good illustration of many modern multitasking features. When I'm battling with tricky features in Linux I usually look up how it's done on the Amiga first. Of course the two systems are not really comparable, but I find learning by analogy works very well in this case.
Modern Amigas are a waste of time, effort and money, in my book. It's all in the software these days, and what has been done on the Amiga can easily be duplicated on different platforms. In fact, the Amiga is now duplicating what other people have done on
other platforms. I cannot be impressed by such activities, really.
