At the end
« on: May 24, 2007, 03:44:47 AM »
If we all really just sat down and looked at the past, in comparison to the present, then we should realise that Bill McWen has finally managed to start getting his arse into gear!

Still, it took him atleast six years!

But, I am very happy that Amiga is slowly but surely starting to get somewhere again, and we shouldnt think of the negatives, but rather the positives that have been happening behind closed doors in the last year and a half!

I mean, Amiga Inc has finally updated their website, and are bluntly telling us what they desire for the Amiga community, and for them as a whole.

Then theres the Amiga OS4 and the two new Amiga PPC's that are coming out soonish.(To all doubtfuls, isnt it obvious he is trying)

Spit all negative commentary you want, a fact is a fact, and it wont change the reality that Amiga Inc has joined forces with various companies, that they were with  before and new alliances for our beloved Amiga Komputers.

I think the future can start looking bright again, and that many ex users, and new users will start owning Amiga PPC Komputers in their homes(duel boot systems, amiga OS4 and Linux). I think, if all goes well, and with the right support from all the positive people in the Amiga community, Amiga is here to stay, and  will grow over time again, maybe even be big niche like Mac.

Either way, to the moderators, never ever kick me out again, people change, but I know the guy that kicked me out was a dh, as an ahole wouldve just set me straight.

Also, I told people Amiga Will Rise, and no one wanted to have it true, but now look, Amiga has updated their webpage, Amiga through hyperion has OS4, maybe behind doors also OS5, Amiga is joint with bigger companies who are helping the Amiga Inc people and Komputers to survive and grow, and older existing Amiga companies are already coming back to Amiga Inc to start developing new software.

PLEASE, PLEASE,
Never ever doubt me again, I was Diestärke, and I am now DieMacht. I told you guys Amiga Will Rise, and I was not lying. Just give it time, and in time, all will see the light again, and we may start living in an Amiga world, behind Microman, but infront of Appleman(in time)

Ultimately, it is possible for one day to be infront of microman, if either Amiga OS or another OS just kicks ass over micromans OS, which, most OS's out there do already, but unfortunately cannot implement the use of Microsoft products on them, which I hate those products to begin with.

I could go on, but you get the joust, Amiga Will Rise!

Cheers!!

@AmigaRises

get a grip man.
the future IS bright, no new amiga needed.  Ppl will be using the classics for some time to come.   They are fun.  any new amiga will just be a second (third) rate hacky piece of whatever.

"Then theres the Amiga OS4 and the two new Amiga PPC's that are coming out soonish.(To all doubtfuls, isnt it obvious he is trying)"
to anybody with a brain it's obvios he is attempting to make it look like INC is a real company becasue otherwise the judge will kick his case out of court.

"Amiga Will Rise!"
it already did in the 80's, pay attention man.

" but rather the positives that have been happening behind closed doors in the last year and a half!"

there is nothing positive about being ripped of by a middle aged man who does not even know how to use an amiga.

@guru -666

Interesting, I know it did rise in the 80's, mac even rose, then windows. Microsoft continues to rise, as does mac, and now amiga has a chance to rise again.

So what is your problem??

@Micru

your cool, you always have been, tell guru his nuts!

@ Shillard

& @ All

I dont really care about any of you guys and girls that always seem to have a negative mind. I have been reading many posts from various peoples who always like to start something with me, and Ive come to realise, they also start things with us, just on a more advanced level, like technical nerds you are.

All I know is, when the new Amiga is finally in production, atleast they have two models to choose from, Ill get the upper end system.

So Shillard, I only came on to see if any of you have changed, but you havent. I have, hence, no problems mate, I will piss off for a moment or two again. I couldnt care less about the people on here, atleast at retrogeekcomputers, we are all treated equally, and not less only because we arent as technical, or whatever the case may be.

C youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu guys laterz

Oh and, the current evidence with Amiga inc, website, and the research Ive done on Amiga, suggests that there is a high percentage that these two new PPC systems will hit the market this year. Lets hope they do, so that people who wish to own a new Amiga system, and buy all the available software for it can.

Ill get candyfactory 2, various other software programs(list is at home) and ofcourse, games that arent new, but still from 2002 onwards, like shogo, and a few others. Probably enjoy a bit of Heretic 2 also.

Anyway, it doesnt matter what I do, or what you guys two, we all have two choices, to think positive or negative.
In eeverything we do we have two choices, to use a car, or to ride a bike and be fit.

To be like a zombie like many in the world and use windows at home, or to use an Amiga at home.

I will choose Amiga. If no, then Linux. But I dont like anything from microsoft, but I c a lot of people on the amiga forums have microsoft thinking already in them, oh well, they cant be helped.

OK, C you guys, c you moderators, b back to see if anythings changed, and will keep reading posts and topics on here, even though the majority of the time its all negative.

Wow, Doomy's got a buddy  :-o

I wondered where you had gone, the place felt kinda empty without you !

The problem for us now is that it appears that the new machines may be a figment of A-Incs imagination just to try to prove to a judge that they are a viable company.

Doesn't it seem strange that they can't release pictures of these boards that are so close to release ?

I am fairly open minded on this subject, but I had to give up preaching Amiga around year 2000 when I realised it just wasn't happening

For now, all I can do is wait and watch

@ Homer:

So true, that all what anyone can ever do in life with things they want, not everyone can have what they want straight away, so we wait!

And yes, the sam440 ep board has pictures, and thats the low end system Amiga they are talking about.

Cheers!!

Anyone got info what companies making the big board(supposedly)?? 8-)  8-)

@AmigaRises,

I don't like all the negative crap either, but man.... get a grip on reality.  You are living in LaLa Land and need to wake up.

I hope something good comes from the recent events, but I don't know how that is going to happen yet.

I am an Amigan, so I am an Optomist and will continue to hope for something better than last year and the year before and the year before, but I am not holding my breath or in denial about what we have today and the likely hood that Amiga Inc. will make any huge improvement in our situation.

It is good you don't care about any of us here on this forum, maybe you won't read this.  Good luck with your view of reality.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

@ Amigadave:

I am in reality, that why I know that windows, any microsoft windows, is totally crap operating system, so crap infact, that one can tell this when they run Linux on their systems, and realise its faster. this is because of all the programming the windows operating system has, in other words, the way its been programmed is making it slow and slugish.

The other day, I was burning something right, I didnt want to wait, so I decided to play a game, and it all fuked up on me.

With an Amiga, this would not have happened, I wouldnt need to redo the burning cd process, how do I know, because Ive seen OS4 in action.

Also to note, I even think Linux wouldnt have a problem either.

So no, I am in reality, and you seem to misunderstand that I am merely pointing out that Amiga Inc in recent 8 months have been moving quicker than usual. Like, it took them very long to update their site, but since then and while updating their site, it is obvious that there are 2 possibilites.
1; It is genuine interest

2: It has been done for their court case.

Either way, I dont think the second one is the sole reason, so, lets wait and see if we get these two fantastic Amiga PPC systems in the coming months, we've waited this long, what wrong with waiting another few months?

And if nothing happens this year, then we know it was all {bleep}, and that Amiga is well and truly dead, but Until then, I have no option but to believe what he is saying this time. I mean, his recent promises and dates havent been that far off from when things actually have happened.

ENJOY flaming, but be warned, anyone who does so, obviously feels insecure and doesnt want to have it as a possibility to what Ive said, that Amiga is back in town soon with new systems!

Cheers!!

P.S.@Shillard, nah man, no need for medication anymore, I am happy to announce that I am no longer taking vitamin B for energy! 8-)  8-)

@ SteveSMS:

Firstly, why should I be kicked out, when I havent said anything bad against any of you, but yet, many of you are saying bad things towards me in sly ways??

Even below isnt saying anything bad towards anyone, as it is merely just paying someone back for doing it to me, but yet, they dont kick you out, maybe they should?

I mean, I remember the first month, I supported Amiga.org & I payed to the kitty, I fed the kitty, but then not so long in the second month, I got kicked, how is that nice??

Here, instead of doing it slyly, do it like this:
So steve, hows you short messages services going to all your gay clients?? I am only assuming you are the guy at that phone shop one of my cousines mafia people saw!

Why did I just judge you, because you just judged me, not nice is it??

Anyway, you seem like a good person, so tell me, dont you believe in life just being one big Chance?

If you walk down your street in da hood, isnt there a chance you could strike it lucky and meet someone who wishes to employ you and is willing to pay you heaps??

At the same time, isnt there a chance you walk down the same streets in the same hood, and you get shot and die??

LIFE is chance, as with Life there is hope!

Where is your hope gone for anything, be it Amiga, or be it in your own personal life?

HENCE

Theres still a chance for Amiga in todays world, even to prosper in particular areas, I mean, why do you think they partnered with the indian company for?? 8-)  8-)
