Granted, it's better to have a paragraph like that, which most of us take for granted, yet some don't ...

Another update on my auction dealings with Boogiegail.  This morning I've had to file a report with Ebay as I've still not heard anything from her via e-mail, ebay messaging, or PayPal (which I have an open claim on now).

In my opinion this person is a leech on the Amiga community and should be avoided at all costs!

If you choose to deal with you it is at your own risk.  Just read some of the comments in her feedback and that should tell you.

Amiga - The fun computer!

Amiga 500 - 3MB, A590, 250MB HD, SupraTurbo28.
Amiga 1200HD - 32MB, 4GB CF-Card, GVP 68030-40Mhz.
Amiga 600HD

Drez21, did you file both an eBay report AND a Paypal or just one of the two?

I'm dealing with a similar situation, but not with her (I did my research for I was to buy from her and realized she's a leech early on)

That would be awesome! :-)

But then again, it might be her trying to do an "Amiga Inc." on us :-D

I just received my 26" Maxent monitor/TV from her, a bit later than I would have liked, but not enough to go yelling and screaming down the corridors.  I have never had any trouble with this seller, but it seems that more than a few have.  She is probably abandoning her account to start a new one that will not have all those negative feedback remarks.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Some people do consider "a bit later than I would have liked" something to scream and yell about, because it's a binding contract that they enter when they decide to buy something and give a merchant their money.

Then again other people don't ...

Oh well, let's see how quickly she gets spotted again in her new identity...

I would absolutely agree with you IF you had an agreement from the seller to immediately ship the item on the same day or the day after the payment was made or received.  I never asked for such an agreement and did not see it offered.  I don't feel it necessary to defend BoogieGail's lack of response and slow shipping practices, they are very unprofessional and troublesome and would not be tolerated from any retail outlet (but hey, this is eBay afterall, so buyer beware).  If I had not had previous positive dealings with her, I may have been just as anxious about my purchases that were late in arriving.  Then of course there is the "Old Fart Factor" which automatically grants a person double patience points to deal with lifes little tragedies.

Heh, I understand you're not covering for her. It's just that people like that piss me off, like the rest of us here. If they only were at least communicative while being late, that would have pretty much alleviated most problems.

Anyways, enough about her "retardation" problems. All I want to know is this: WHERE did she get all the cool hardware!!!! Sometimes she had some awesome stuff. Where, where, where?

I bought a Video Toaster 4000 Flyer combo from her. Paid in March7 and still has not heard a word from her apart from the reply telling me she had no time but will ship this week.

Now she deleted her account how will I contact her. If she doesnt send me the cards will I be able to receive my money back?
