Ha ha. Score on some equipment! There was a listing on craigslist for a Chinon HD floppy drive for $1. It was from a computer liquidation company and they were on the Peninsula near the SF airport, and only open from 9-3. This was the one odball piece of equipment they got from a liquidation, and he checked the model and posted it as the kind of floppy drive that went in Amigas. Luckily, I had a little spare time after dropping off a friend at the hospital, and went down, and got there just as they were closing. Not bad for one buck. It looks in pretty good shape, no dents, and the face plate has no dirt or smudges. Hardly any dust! Can't wait to try it out in my A3000.
For those who know, its the Chinon rev B model FB-357, and there are three jumper pins in the back, the two on the left are jumpered. Does anyone know those are for?
