Only women and gay men are that pedantic about grammar.
You aren't a gay man are you?

are you lookin for a slap ? I'm a grammar/spelling pedant, and if you'd said that to my face, you'd be regaining consciousness just about now.

A sentence really should begin with a capital :-P.

And welcome, mel_zoom =).

good point, but I rarely use caps on fora as they take too long!

@mel_zoom

 Mel..........Zooom!

I hope you have time to hook up your Amiga to the Max!  click on my name here and look at some of my personal Amiga pictures. I have used my Amigas to work at Night clubs VJ-ing, and am currently putting together another Amiga setup to start up again. I will probably buy a projector this week and start doing parties again. I intend to do The part of the DJ and the VJ using the Amiga 1200 for all this.

Trust me your Amiga is a great machine..........put love into it, there are many peripherals for it.

and software and games galore. SuperNintendo and Sega Genesis type games of the 16 bit era that Im sure you will like.

Enjoy your stay here.............
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

@Mel
Think this is just about the fastest growing thread on here at the moment. For example I just logged in and the thread update count was 13 mails total: 2 for "MiniMig", 10 for "Hi!" and one for "WELCOME!" :-D

@Karlos
I think you're being entirely TOO generous to the fellow.

I hope you're referring to the warm reception and not the trollings of the our well informed critic or Islam?

Yes, usually the welcomes are warm here although I'm a little suspicious that having a Amigan-ess in the fold might have something to with it.

Provided that you have something interesting or new to say, a good sense of humour or even some newbie questions you'll get on just fine here, we are a friendly bunch.  Most of the posters in the coffee house forum have made me spit my coffee out laughing at one time or other (step forward Karlos & x-ray, who warrant special merit).

However, we do have one or two idiots who use every opportunity to post something distasteful about religion or homosexuals.  They're best ignored or labelled for future reference as a 'Length'.

What did she say? :lol:

Well I made love to her in her office and then took her for a drive in my car. She then said "Men are as bad at driving as they are at making love". I asked her what on earth she meant by that. To which she replied "You guys just pull out without any thought for anyone else that might be coming"   :boohoo:

If I recall correctly, my welcome thread recieved around 5 replies, but I'd say that has more to do with the fact that I'm an Aussie :-P

Edit...Gee that was a long time ago; "Joined: 2003/8/25", considering it was posted in the old "General Discussion" forum (remember those days) it would be long gone by now...
