Dixons and Currys are the two biggest high-street electrical retailers in the UK, yet have only just over half of their customers being satisfied with the service. Looking at retailer reviews on pricerunner.co.uk, Dixons online business has a 70% rating, while Currys, part of the same chain, has 54%.
True, true.... But the standards for satisfaction are quite different.
From a store, to get a 10/10 rating, customers want perfect salesmen, perfect delivery, 100% flexible scheduling, 100% availablity, money-back guarantees, instant rebates, discounts, etc...
On eBay, to get a positive feedback, the item usually needs to be fairly close to what was described and arrive in less than a month. Anyone who can't do this 99% of the time doesn't deserve to be in business.
If you compare apples-to-apples.... Bricks-and-mortar do darn near 100%.
