Yeh, I wish I was keeping some of the items I'm currently listing, but need to get some cash right now. I have one more Amiga 4000 with the High-Flyer Expansion that I'm hoping I won't have to list... So you all buy as much as you can and Bid, Bid, Bid!  :-D

Thanks!

/ran ON

Feedback is ok just because a seller doesn't have 100% is not a big deal!  I have 99% because of some arse hole transactions of ID10T errors out there.  Crap happens you cannot avoid it.  I have had people email me "I am concerned about your feedback"  WTF I have 99%!

/rant OFF

I Never had a problem with her in my dealings, so don't worry about it...

99% isn't too worrying, but anything less than that is...

Think about it.... 98% means one out of every 50 people you've dealt with feels screwed over...  If *ANY* brick-and-mortar store had that kind of customer service record, they wouldn't be around too long.

Actually I think most bricks-and-mortar stores would be very happy with 80%, never mind 97%.

In the 2006 Comparisat survey on customer satisfaction, just 7% of people gave Currys (one of Britain's biggest high-street electrical retailers) a 10/10 satisfaction rating.

The report said:
Quote

Electrical retailers like Currys and Dixons have been sent to the bottom of the chart because of poor service – indeed they have the most unhappy customers in all the survey.

Dixons and Currys are the two biggest high-street electrical retailers in the UK, yet have only just over half of their customers being satisfied with the service.  Looking at retailer reviews on pricerunner.co.uk, Dixons online business has a 70% rating, while Currys, part of the same chain, has 54%.

True, true.... But the standards for satisfaction are quite different.

From a store, to get a 10/10 rating, customers want perfect salesmen, perfect delivery, 100% flexible scheduling, 100% availablity, money-back guarantees, instant rebates, discounts, etc...

On eBay, to get a positive feedback, the item usually needs to be fairly close to what was described and arrive in less than a month.  Anyone who can't do this 99% of the time doesn't deserve to be in business.

If you compare apples-to-apples....  Bricks-and-mortar do darn near 100%.

You forget that sometimes people are complete morons and will leave you negative if you do things like 1) not pay right away, 2) they feel it took too long for them to receive your item, etc.  The majority of my 8 negatives are from sellers who would rather not try to work with their buyers.  On all my sales I try to make the seller happy (if they put in an effort and let me)  Sadly most do not and just leave a negative (which I promptly did the same)  ebay sucks and anyone that takes the feedback too seriosly should not.  Now if someone had less than like %95 or more then that would be an indicator something is wrong...

Yeah, definitely have to agree with this. I sold something on ebay to someone. He payed through paypal, and I didn't realize it was an instant transfer, not an echeck. I sent him a email saying I received payment, and would be holding it for 4 days AS STATED IN THE AUCTION. He complained about that rather quickly, and I corrected my error and apologized. It was too late to send it out by then, but I got it out the next day. He left negative feedback still, stating that I unfairly held his payment for an extended period.

I can vouch for Boogiegail, as I have bought many items from her in the past.  The only complaint I could ever mention is the fact that the packing materials reek of cigarette smoke.  Other than that I cannot think of any problems.  Fast shipment, items always as described, good packing for protection and great communication.

I wonder how she finds so much Amiga hardware to sell.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)
