... is a website dedicated to the biggest loads of FUD ever spread by people who claim to be Amiga fans... I do have to wonder sometimes just what possesses people to do it.  Maybe it's an urge to attention-seek that would normally be "look at me, I have a cool fast Amiga" that gets warped into whatever load of lies they can think up.

The other thing I wonder is, say if the Amiga does get back onto a stable footing, eg. new, faster Amigas complimented by AmigaOS developing at a reasonable rate, and so "real news" will be coming in at a reasonable rate to keep us interested, is whether all the people who spread FUD all the time will shut up and find something better to do?

semi rant over :-)

I have no idea Mike, but a lot of us feel the way you do.  It's my hope -- though not very realistic -- that once "BillandFleecyCo" do something.... anything.... that the crowds will get back to being normal people.

The questions are,  are  people really spreading FUD? or do the people who shout FUD all the time do it because they hate to see people expressing opinions which disagree with them?

I would bet money on the 2nd one.

Hi,

Let me be the one :-)

I get excellent support from Amiga. Fleecy and Ray are amongst the biggest helpers.

How about drivers for some of the USB 2 video capture cards, and some decent software to boot I.E. Ulead Video Studio.

There's no news like bad news and in he absences of any news people will assume the worse.  It's not good, it's not right, but it is.

On the gripping hand we faithful Amiga few have been ripped by so much jolly good news that turned out bad, that many are afraid to hope anymore.  They turn their backs on anything good they hear with a "yea, yea, heard that before".

Amiga fans have come to hope for the best and expect the worst.  When so many bright new starts have ended face down in the mud, and we get nothing, well yes, it gets hard to keep holding out.  I might be from Michigan, but I'm moving to Missouri.  As far as anything Amiga it's "Show Me"
