In an ideal world :-)  OS4 would fly on a quad-core G5 machine.

i want it, i want it, i want it!

the universe structures are all ideal in order to let life be possible on earth. this ideality is also present in the computer scene and that means we are going to get this quad-core g5 board with amiga os 4.

Cool. A quad-core G5 and not even being able to visit most websites due to crappy browsers (Ibrowse and AWeb) or using a decent office package.
Yeah, but I guess we really need G5 for screen-dragging.

The Pegasos 3 will be Genesi's new dual CPU / Quad-core G5 machine.

Heh.  So much for energy effeciency.  :-)

The new Intel Conroe processors are looking VERY good, and supposedly run very cool.  It looks like PPC outside the embedded market is going to be very rare.  Without any decent chipsets, new PPC boards are unlikely.

Damn stubborn egos and politics...

You are wrong.

Oh.. well. I know about those. and if those are your examples I do not think I am wrong.. Amizilla does not seem active (Certainly going by the CVS and news on site). I personally don't think it will ever be finished, But I would love to be proved wrong.

The last thing I heard was in May over here. Anton Reinauer gave the update specifically because people were claiming that the project was dead. They really should update that site more often. I can't comment about the CVS contents as I haven't looked at it. It's possible that some people are slow with uploading their updates to the CVS.

Ultimately we will have to wait and see when/if Firefox is ported.
