What has hyperion to do with his hardware dying?? I can understand why you blame amiga inc and eyetech for us having no hardware, but why hyperion?
Hyperion were an integral party to deciding the overall strategy under which things would move forward. PPC, monopoly arrangements, licensing, etc.
They are as much responsible for the current situation - albeit indirectly - as Amiga Inc and Eyetech are.
The situation is a bad one and
everyone is responsible, including the users who were so desperate for a new AmigaOS that they were willing to buy anything put in front of them regardless of quality or price. Thus a strategy which was bound to fail was embarked upon.
As for warranties, it's no longer a question of them being valid or people's statutory rights. You can't replace kit if no replacement kit exists.
The only realistic option is to write it off as a bad experience and move on.
