DOSUAE hasn't been updated in years. Big improvements have been made in WinUAE since then. You would be better off installing a minimal install of Windows 98 (which will boot very quickly anyway), and replace explorer.exe with the WinUAE executable. That way when Windows loads it will immediately start WinUAE.

I have AUEemulator and some roms ( the roms are same as my orginal games on my amiga, so this may not be illegal then I have licens for them ).
But its not fun like real stuff, but I think it will be more fun if I using a homemade Amigaclone instead a emulator on my windows-pc..

How Can I get more info about that PCI-amigadisk-for-pc-thing. ;-)

Unfortunately, your best bet will be a Windows based 'PC'.  WinUAE is the best Amiga emulator available ATM; although the multi-platform E-UAE may be equally attractive, depending on what you want to do.  To that end, this thread may be of some assitance toward minimizing your interaction with Windows.  It discusses changing the Windows shell from Explorer to WinUAE.

I'm still trying to find a decent Amiga theme for Windows that includes startup screen, color scheme, and gadgets.  For those instances when you absolutely have to use Windows (OS maintenance).  So far, those I have found fall short of imparting the Amiga 'feel'.  If I do find one however, I'll tack it on to the thread I mentioned.

Anybody here know of a decent Windows theme that does a half way decent of making Windows look like an Amiga?

I have a idea, maybe sounds bad for some of u.
How cool would it be to build a amigacomputer as it could be a futureamiga, from old amigapart or/and maybe som pcparts, Running latest version av AmigaOS or AROS, can run all amiga-games&apps. But even design the hardware nice.
I being thinking about a new cool version of Amiga 500, but a dvdslim-drive instaid of a diskdrive, a hardisk, USBports and so on.

I also think to build the fakeamiga so it can run other games from example Snes, nes, sega, c64 and so on...
Can I have both windows and AROS on same system?

I gonna soon show a prototypepicture of the computer I gonna build.

What about the AmigaOS XL / Amithlon ?
That should work like that, booting into an Amiga environment directly.
I'm not sure though if it supports catweasel for amiga disks.

AmigaOS XL? Does it work with pchardware?
I have a Amiga500, but I can´t hit it when I lose on a game, and the left mousebutton is damage, the soundport are also in good shape. The disks giving up one after one... It´s easly to run everything on a pc..
A pc is more cheep easy to get spareparts, I have lots of old pc who I dont know I do with them..
