I would LOVE to be at a gathering...i think is one of my dreams..
I have never ever in my life been in a Amiga-party or something like that...
Of course...nearest Amiga user lives in Chile (Hi Rod!!)...and i guess im the only Argentinian A.Org member (besides this other guy who now lives in Germany , hppacito or something like that was his nick...)

I would really love to attend one of those meetings for sure...but unfortunately its almost impossible...
I know some brazilians (at least i know 50 Amiga users there), but i have never attended one of their meetings (which are very cool, from what i have read & seen...)

There was an Amiga convention not less than 2 hours from where I live in Oakland recently and I couldn't get there! :bigcry:

Getting to Colorado would be impossible! If you don't own a car and are not gainfully employed, that's out of my league. I like the idea though!!

Since Amiga.org is so multinational though, maybe we should meet on a transatlantic cruise liner like the QM2. We could dine on fine quisine and discuss life, love and Petro Tyschtenko.

I'd been wondering why the Brits are called Poms in Australia and New Zealand... Is this explanation anywhere near correct?!

Obviously it would be impossible for us all to get together. There's no way I'm travelling to america just for an amiga meeting.

Even somewhere like the south of england is to far for me to travel.

We could arrange small meetings, so eg, those inthe north of england could get together, as could those in the south, then those in america could etc.

Maybe we could have an official a.org irc meeting once a month? People could congregrate in their local group physically, and all the local groups could link via irc?

Narayan is a song on the 3rd Album (Fat of the Land) and Jericho is the first song on the 1st Album (Experience).

Also, Hyperspeed is a song on the first album, and the sample at the beginning of that songs starts with "We're moving now at 9 times the speed of sound"

We could do regional get together events!  

Seattle, Los Angeles, NY, Miami, Oklamhoma City, etc.  

That way it would be easier for some to get there, etc.

Jay Miner would probably look on with disgust at the hardcore amiga comunity. The ouija board would spell things like "Get a life", "move on", and "lol, amiga is dead silly". If Jay Miner were alive today, he would probably delight in firecely trolling amiga related message boards.
