I got two of these in May of 1985. Best damn joystick. Ever. Althought the carbon-impregnated design does wear out after a while.

IIRC, the packaging had "Hi-Toro" on them. Made before CBM bought them up.
Because of the small size, you could switch from one direction to another so fast that you could actually find small bugs in programs that assumed you couldn't switch from "up" to "right" (for example) in less that 2 clock cycles of a 1MHz 6502. I'd love to see the assembly code for that in Archon.
Archon on the C64 was one such program. You could move the characters to inappropriate spots on the checkerboard (and off of it) because the incredible speed of the joystick allowed you to change directions before the joy-register checking routines could be exited.
