I bought a Sony. To tell you the truth I thought the color was a little richer and I paid $50 less. In a month I had3 stuck pixels. You think I would have learned by now this is my third consecutive Sony purchase that went bad. (PS, 17-in CRT, then the TFT)

Wish I had bought the Samsung.

Samsung is today what Sony was 10 years ago.

Like MS, I think Sony got so big the head don't know what the A$$ is doing.

Didn't SOny buy and promptly kill Pychnosis somewhere along the way?

@McNorris

Run a stuck pixel fixer.  I've heard great results from them.  Luckily, I haven't had to use one yet.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

"but the ps is a 10yo product"

Well those were the big purchases I guess. And yeah, not quite ten years ago I bought a PS. after less than a year you would have to turn it over, then turn it on for it to load. One of my buddies is on his third PS2. (Out of fairness his first one broke as a result of topple.)

Sony fan? Go for it... I couldn't give a rat's, BUT I'll not be buying Sony stuff anytime soon.

To each his own.

@adolescent

Pixer Fixel? :-)

How does it work?
AND
Do you have a link?

I have tried a number of things in the past. I think some say massaging them will sometimes work. Never has for me though.

It's a video/application that rapidly flashes RGB screens to stimulate the pixels.  Google search should turn up something.

My monitor has a constantly red pixel that can be fixed by giving it a massage. :-)

I wish I could say the same.  My new DS has a stuck (lazy) pixel on the top screen.  So much for Nintendo quality.  This thing is going back.
