No disrespect intended - I didn't know you were already an Amiga user. Your question lead me to think you were asking whether Amigas are worth getting. We all know the answer to that :-)
Just to reiterate what cgutjahr said, the Aminet CDs themselves will work just fine on a PAL or NTSC Amiga, but if any of the software on it is specifically written for one video standard or the other you may have a problem with that specific piece of software.
@MarkAshley
No problem dude, I have been out of the Amiga scene for quite awhile, since the 1st initial release of the, at the time, A4000, when I was stationed in England in the '90's.
@leirbag28
I tried to look up Aminet on the web, Google returned a bunch of "Official looking" Aminet sites. I've tried most of them and they seem legitimate; which is the Official one? Also, does Amiga Forever support .lha files?
@anyone who knows the answer to this. . . .
Does the transfer of files from the Aminet CD's or website, allow you to play the games, utilities or any other file you download to your Amiga as if it were the original fully licensed product? Thanks
